Texas Stix Scout Day was September 21 at Dallas Baptist University. The annual event is allows us to measure players’ growth and tools while providing exposure to colleges. This year, 112 Stix players and 18 coaches representing 14 colleges participated.

Coaches attended from the following colleges: Dallas Baptist University (3), ​University of Texas at Arlington, Texas State​ University, Arlington Baptist, Blinn College​, Howard​ ​College (2), Weatherford​ College, Lamar College (2), Brookhaven​ College​, Hill​ College​, Northlake​ College​, Richland​ College​, Vernon​ College​ and Grayson​ Collage.​

Players with grad years 2018-2021 worked out in the batting cages, infield and outfield. We used the Stalker II radar to clock outfield velocity, infield velocity, pitcher fastball velocity and catcher velo. The Pocket Radar was used to clock exit velo.
